Tachanka is designed as a heavy support role. To protect against deadly head-shots - the turret sports a bulletproof shield - similar to 's rifle shield, that can be broken after receiving enough damage.The mounted LMG can also be collapsed and relocated - useful for surprising the attacking team. Players need to place the turret in an open area that allows for its full range of rotation. Tachanka can deploy a mounted heavy machine gun at defensive positions to ambush attackers at strategic choke-points.
